Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Been working on a huge art project for my drawing final. and I mean HUGE as in bigger than me.Of what? you guessed it.... a giant fly. Its pretty creepy, and ever since I started drawing it flies have started showing up....its the middle of december O_o where the heck did they come from?

Good thing I've never seen the movie the fly.

I will hopefully get some really awesome photos/ copies of it soon. Its due on tuesday which is when I will finally piece it together.

other than that, been busy with all my other finals, and trying to get things situated. I still need a place to stay In LA....like...asap.

*sigh*....hoping things will work out.
